Myth #1: All Black/African American hair is the same or all Asian hair is the same.

Truth: Every race has many different hair types, not just one. Some black people have strong hair, but the truth is that the majority do not. Not all Asians have thick straight hair.

Myth #2: Hairstylists are trained at beauty school.

Truth: Beauty school training is for licensing and focuses on rules regulations, health and safety.  It does not train stylist how to cut, formulate color, place color and the list goes on.
